Who Level Up is designed for

Level Up: Work Ready is designed primarily for students aged 15–18 who are:



Preparing for work experience or their first job
                    Participating in career education or employability programs
               Beginning a school-based traineeship or apprenticeship
                  Needing additional confidence and workplace preparation


                                                                                       The program uses clear, practical language and examples from different industries, making the learning relevant
                                                                                       to students with varied interests and career goals.

Schools can use Level Up:

  With individual students, small groups or whole classes
                   Before work experience, employment or workplace-based training
As part of career education or employability programs
                 As additional support or a refresher following workplace feedback


Schools can deliver the program as one concentrated work-readiness activity or spread it across several lessons.

Skills students develop

Students develop practical behaviours and skills that employers value across different workplaces.

Time Management

Arrive prepared, prioritise tasks, manage competing demands and communicate when delays or problems occur.

Workplace Pro

Understand first impressions, presentation, reliability, professional behaviour and workplace expectations.


Confidence Champion

Respond calmly when unsure, accept feedback, learn from mistakes and take appropriate initiative.

Communication

Listen carefully, ask appropriate questions, clarify instructions and communicate respectfully in person and online.


Rights and Responsibilities

Understand workplace rights, responsibilities, safety expectations, policies and when to speak to a supervisor.

Team Player

Contribute to a team, respect workplace roles, respond to different people and handle disagreements professionally.


Get Hired

Prepare resume and cover-letter content, consider suitable referees and practise responding to interview questions.

How delivery works

Level Up is delivered online through the LearnWorlds learning platform.
Schools can deliver the program as one concentrated work-readiness activity or spread across several lessons.

Approximate completion time
3–4 hours for the complete program

Completion time will vary according to:
Completion time may vary depending on student pace, teacher support and whether activities are completed individually or discussed as a class.

Badges and completion recognition

Students receive a digital badge after completing each level. Students who meet
the program’s completion requirements can also receive a certificate of completion.

Access and technical requirements

Each student needs a private LearnWorlds login, internet access and a computer or compatible tablet. Headphones are recommended for video activities. Schools can arrange access for individuals, groups or classes. Where school reporting access is arranged, teachers can monitor student progress and completion.
